ChemInstruments Warranty
ChemInstruments warrants all products manufactured by it to be free of defects in workmanship and materials when used under normal operating conditions and when applied in accordance with instructions and specifications. This warranty shall be in effect for a period of twelve months from date of shipment. This warranty is not transferable and only applies to the original purchaser of equipment.
ChemInstruments will repair or replace at its option, any of its products, which has been found defective and is within the warranty period, provided that the product is shipped freight prepaid, with previous authorization, to ChemInstruments, 510 Commercial Drive, Fairfield, Ohio 45014-7593 USA. At its option, all return shipments are F.O.B. ChemInstruments. ChemInstruments is not responsible for removal, installation, or any other incidental expenses incurred in shipping the products to or from ChemInstruments.
This warranty is in lieu of any other expressed or implied warranty including (but not limited to) any implied warranties of merchantability and/or fitness for a particular use or purpose.
Attempting repairs or opening equipment cabinets without ChemInstruments expressed permission will void this warranty.
ChemInstruments liability under this warranty shall be solely limited to repair or replacement of the ChemInstruments product within the warranty period and ChemInstruments shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for any consequential, incidental or indirect damages or expenses associated with warranted products.
Any ChemInstruments product, which is damaged due to misuse, abuse, and negligence or has been modified or dismantled without knowledge or written consent of ChemInstruments, is not covered by this warranty.
Load cells are excluded from this warranty. Load cells are checked by the manufacturer prior to shipment and certified to be free of defects.
