The following standard weights are available:
100 grams; 200 grams; 250 grams; 500 grams; 1000 grams.
- These weights are required for PSTC, TLMI, FINAT, and AFERA Shear Testing procedures.
- Custom sizes are also available (smallest weight is 20 grams).
- Anything over 30lbs requires a crate for shipment.

We offer a variety of different weight sizes to use with your ChemInstruments Static Shear testers. These weights are a lower cost alternative to precision weights and are designed to easily hang from your test substrate or better yet, use with a Shear Test Clip for improved hang accuracy. Weights are made from steel or aluminum and are finished with a black oxide or black anodized treatment, respectively.
